 HOW TO ORDER YOUR PAINTING

Specials and Coupons

1. SELECT A FEW GREAT PHOTOS OF YOUR PET.
Having several photos for reference is preferred. If you have one great clear photo, that is fine too.
(If your painting is a gift for a friend and they are on Facebook, I can access their photos from there.)
2. DECIDE YOUR PRICE RANGE AND DESIRED PAINTING SIZE.
3. EMAIL ME YOUR PICS AND LET'S GET STARTED!!!
Pictures need to be in JPEG form, as large a format as possible to be able to see details of your pet. Choose photos that have as much light on your pet's face as possible. Reflections in the eyes and on the nose make great paintings. Whimsical positions are also wonderful.  If you would like to send me actual photos for reference, I will provide you with a mailing address, and your photos will be safely returned along with your painting.

When I see your photos, I will make a suggestion as to what medium will best portray your pet, and we can discuss size, etc.

Once we have decided on the details of your commission I will email you an invoice. You can pay with debit / credit card or mail a cashier's  check. You are welcomed to make payments. Once your invoice is paid in full, I will begin your painting.
4. WATCH AS YOUR PAINTING IS CREATED!
I will send you the initial layout of your painting for your approval. Once approved, you will have the option of watching the process unfold via text, email and Facebook (if it is not a surprise gift!!).
I will also send you videos of the piece being created.
5. MATTING AND FRAMING OPTIONS
Acrylic paintings and oils are created on gallery wrapped canvas and come ready to hang on your wall.
Soft pastels are protected with a light spray fixative but are still delicate in nature
and must be matted and framed under glass.
I can provide matting and framing services, with a choice of a basic frame or something more decorative,
You can tell me how your home is decorated, and I will chose an appropriate frame and mat to compliment your image.
I can also pick out my suggestions and send you pictures and let you decide.

I do however strongly suggest that pastels be framed on your end, so ensure the safe arrival of your work and avoid any possiblity of breakage when shipping glass.

6. WRAPPING AND SHIPPING
Upon completion and approval your painting will be professionally wrapped, insured and shipped by UPS with a tracking number. (Alternative carriers are available if you have a favorite.) All paintings are shipped ground unless you would like it expedited.

If your order was a gift and you want it shipped directly to your friend or family member, I will gift wrap for a very small minimal fee.
I look forward to making something beautiful and special just for you!!!

For this particular pastel project, the far right photo was chosen to create more of an "art piece" rather than a straight on portrait.
